Each Ultimate Pool Challenge deck contains 52 challenge cards, plus 2 wild or joker cards. Elegantly printed with metallic ink details, each card has an associated point value and displays shots that range from easy to extremely difficult. There are different angle shots, combinations, multi-shot scenarios, caroms and break shots. Each shot depicts the ball setup, directions, an english map indicating where you should hit the ball, and where you should attempt to direct the cue ball for position on your next shot when applicable. Each deck also doubles as a standard deck of playing cards!
A lot of time and research has been invested into the details of each product for the Ultimate Pool Challenge to be meaningful, purposeful, challenging and fun. Whether practicing alone or playing with others, your excitement will continue to build with each challenging shot made, and you will quickly improve your skills and advance your play.
Chalk your cue, then shuffle, draw and shoot!
The Ultimate Pool Challenge Original Series are beautifully printed, 2.75" x 3.75" pool playing cards that contain valuable lessons and superior entertainment.
Take a look at the top sample card, the jack of hearts. The first shot on the combination is fairly easy, but just making the shot is not good enough. Without practice and knowledge of this shot, you probably are not going to have a shot on the second object ball to make the combination. To be successful you will need to make the first combination shot, pocketing the ball to the left of the pocket. Don't make the ball in the center or right side of the pocket. Shoot so the ball is made on the left side of the mouth of the pocket. You do not use any english on this shot. Your speed will determine if you have a shot on the next object ball. You will need to practice to be successful.
Now look at the following two sample cards. They look very similar, but in fact have their own special challenges. You must hit the lead ball perfectly and bounce off the rails precisely to get results on the following balls. They have similar scenarios and the same english, but require a different precision and end result for each card.
The variety of skill levels and scenarios in the Original Series will provide hours of training and entertainment. You will see your game improve immediately, and you will start thinking two and three shots ahead — just like the pros!

Use these Zone Mats to add more fun and challenge to the Ultimate Pool Challenge pool playing card games, or create your own games with them. Learn cue ball control and speed by placing them on the table in specific areas as indicated on the pool playing cards or anywhere you want your cue ball to stop. They provide a viewable and tangible location for you to practice, and train you to be in position for the next shot. These are especially helpful when used with the Mike Massey Advanced Series game, as some of those cards require balls to stop in specific areas/zones.
These 10" x 10" mats come in a pack of 4. They are made of a very thin, durable, flexible, vinyl material that will remain flat and in position on the table.
